Captions Ai is an independent browser-based caption tool at procaptionsai.com. It is not affiliated with captions.ai. Product support and content corrections are handled through Support@procaptionsai.com.
Our story
The product focuses on a practical creator workflow: select a video before sign-in, turn speech into editable captions, choose a readable style and export. Its current free launch includes caption generation, templates and a separate translation tool.
What we do
Create auto captions for short videos, podcasts, lessons and social clips. Review the transcript, adjust timestamps and choose animated templates. Download a captioned video or separate SRT and VTT subtitles.
Our commitment to trust and accuracy
We aim to provide reliable product information through transparent descriptions of features and limitations, linked technology sources and a public support channel for corrections. Our editorial guidelines explain these standards. Try the tool with your own clip, check the editable words and compare the exported subtitles with the audio. AI accuracy varies. Translation and Roman transliteration also need review; we do not guarantee error-free output or publish an unsupported accuracy score.
Privacy and technology
Videos are processed on your device. Google and Supabase support sign-in, Vercel hosts the website, and AI model files download to your browser. Original media is not sent to our servers; optional project metadata sync is described in our Privacy Policy.
About preview images
Template portraits are AI-generated demonstration images. They are not photographs of staff, customers or reviewers and do not represent testimonials.
Technology sources
Our browser AI uses open-source libraries. Read the Transformers.js documentation to understand local model processing. This link identifies a technology source, not a commercial partnership.
